Situation room reports have it that five people have been allegedly killed in Southern Ijaw area of Bayelsa state.
This is coming following series of violence which had erupted in the state since yesterday night, where gunshots have been repeatedly heard in several parts of the state.
There were also gunshots reported in Brass local government area of the state.
As at the time of fling this report, Naij.com correspondents on ground were yet to ascertain the level of havoc wreaked by the shootings as Southern Ijaw is across water.
