Nollywood actor Femi Branch, whose family recent picture took social media by storm, opened up on how he proposed to his wife, Ibitola, during his grandmother’s funeral.

He said: “I met my wife a few years ago at a church in Abeokuta, which I was invited to. She sang during the service and I was captivated by her voice. I could not restrain the urge to speak to her after service and we became friends thereafter.”
On how he proposed to his beautiful wife, he said it was during his grandmother’s burial and they have since remained inseparable.
“I proposed to her at my grandmother’s funeral in Badagry. It just occurred to me that she would be my wife. My grandmother was very fond of her before she passed away and I did not want to miss the chance of marrying her since I had lost my grandmother. So I decided to propose.”
He said he misses nothing about bachelorhood.
He said: “Not really. I lived with my parents for a long time and never really had much independence because there was no need for it. I did not live by myself for up to two years before I got married, so there is really nothing to miss.”
