Nigerian dancehall star, Timaya, has revealed how much respect he has for ace producer Don Jazzy.
In an interview with Notjustok, the Sanko singer explained that his admiration for the producer began after they collaborated on the song I Concur.
He talked about how he made several calls before getting through to the Dorobucci star, and how in the end he got a good response.
The singer admitted that he and Jazzy were not close prior to the time of working on the song together. He said: “I’d finished doing the song.
So I was in my studio. And I just thought if I put Don Jazzy on this song it will be nice. But I didn’t even have his number. “So I had to call Skales.
I said Skales you get Don Jazzy number?” Timaya continued like that till he finally got through to Jazzy and he explained the positive gestures he got through the course of them working on the song as well as the video.
He also talked about the possibility working on a song with Rihanna but explained he wasn’t ready to deal with a stressful process.

In July 2015, he was accused of rape in the United States after his relationship with a certain singer named Shella went sour.
The Bayelsa-born musician has also been involved in a copyright infringement battle with colleague Jahbless over the song Hallelujah.
